I am writing the first book from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons.Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas.I am researching the family of Gustav Adolph Stuetze and wife Elizabeth from Milwaukee/Kenosha area.In 1860 their daughters were:Emilie Charlotte(Mrs Charles Henryl August Beverung),Augusta (Mrs August Theodor Zilisch in 1866),Elizabeth (Mrs.William Wehner in 1872) ,Ida (Mrs Hermann Rendtorff in 1875) and Pauline Laura (Mrs.Henry Nuelsen in 1878.

I was a member and would like to rejoin.  Please email the information I need to became a member again.

I also have some cemetery pictures I can send you.  Are you looking for only pictures in Kenosha County or anything in WI.  I also have some from out of state.

I really appreciate what you are trying to do in taking pictures.  I will try to do more of my family to help you along.

My families are:  Krahn, Schwartz, Zuehlsdorf.

Take care

Phyllis

I just read your brochure that I picked up at the Civil War Museum and it states you have no summer meetings, yet you calendar of events shows them as being scheduled.  What should I believe?

Very nice site.  I have recently returned to my genealogical searches and have made good progress with my tree, but not to well with my direct bloodline.  I hope to attend one of your meetings and see how things work there...

You have a wonderful website.  I am wondering if you welcome members to join your society if they are  snowbirds and are gone from Kenosha from January to the end of May?  Do you have any meetings or activities during the summer?  I am now working on my husband's family who were Danish immigrants who settled in Kenosha.  His family members have been very helpful but I also am interested in local links to follow to get more information about them in Kenosha County.   Thanks so much for your impressive website!   Donna Lee nelson
