Who We Are

Welcome to the Kenosha County Genealogical Society.

Mission Statement:

 This society is organized for the purpose of gathering together any individual(s)
interested in genealogy and local history, to help its membership in tracing their lineage
through regular and special meetings and workshops, and to keep it informed through
various media.

Our Location:
Kenosha County, Wisconsin is located in the southeastern part of the state, bordered on the south by Lake County, Illinois and on the East by Lake Michigan. On the north, we are bordered by Racine County, Wisconsin and on the west by Walworth County, Wisconsin.

Membership in this Society will be open to all individuals interested in genealogy and local history, who pay dues.  There will be no restriction as to place of residence.

Our yearly membership dues are $10 per year for individuals/family.
For our Canadian friends the dues are $11 (extra dollar for increased postage). Members receive our newsletter.
